Lazy app design

I have been becoming more and more frustrated with my own inability to conceptualize in real time numbers greater than 100,000 when listening and reading Chinese. In fact I was so frustrated that I actually spent $3 for this app. Very disappointing. A few concrete things that should be modified are:

1) the arabic number strings need commas
2) there should be an option to turn off the timer
3) there should be an option to hear a number and type it in
4) there should be an option to repeat the number
